Cindy Francis form GCC showed me the oldest recognizable SUNYLA conference bag: 2003. She will be receiving her prize very shortly. Thanks for those who participated!
Way back in April–the 29th, to be exact–we announced that in keeping with our “green” theme, we would not be giving out bags this year. Instead, we asked you to bring your own, and promised a prize for the oldest recognizable SUNYLA Conference bag. Be sure to bring your bag along with you tomorrow, and show it to Pam, Logan, Lori, or Linda. We’ll take your name and the conference year, and at dinner we’ll announce the “oldest bag”!
We also have conference pins coming, but they were inexplicably delayed in the mail. You’ll get one before you leave, though!
Thursday registration and check-in, originally planned for the Welcome Center, is moving to the Townhomes (campus housing) Community Center. Just follow the yellow SUNYLA Housing signs. If you get lost, call me at 585-737-1266 anytime after 7 AM tomorrow.–Pam O’Sullivan
Although the sun is shining at the moment, the picnic has been moved to the rain location of the New York Room in Cooper Hall. See you there!
I expect to see many of you tomorrow at Registration or at the picnic, and the rest on Thursday. Here’s to a great conference!
